SEP Essentiality Analysis
Search & Analysis · Interactive
Assesses whether a patent's claims are essential to a named technical standard, element by element, and returns a claim-by-claim essentiality verdict.
What to expect: This checks in with you at a few points: which claims to analyze, which version of the standard to check against, confirmation that the actual standard document was found, and the resulting mapping, before the final essentiality verdict. It is a heavier analysis and can take a few minutes.
